This Saturday December 7th, 2019 Downtown Lafayette, IN celebrates Christmas as a family! The streets will come alive from morning to evening with Christmas celebrations, and we’ve got the schedule breakdown for you. We hope you enjoy this event filled day!
Start your day off (if you’re into this sort of thing), at 9:00 A.M with the ‘Tis the Season Ugly Sweater Run at Riehle Plaza! If you’re not into running, just stop by to view the hilarious array of Ugly Christmas Sweaters! You will never regret that. Fortunately, the Christmas Holiday Market starts proptly at 9:00 A.M. as well in the Lahr Atrium. It lasts until 2:00 P.M., so arrive at your leisure! Still looking for that perfect gift? Local vendors will be in abundace at this event, so keep your eyes out!
After the Holiday Market closes at 2:00 P.M. Santa will be at Rat Pak Venue (Downtown; Lafayette, IN). Here’s a breakdown on the entire event! “We’ll be watching holiday movies and enjoying complimentary cookies and hot cocoa. Visits with Santa are FREE from 2:00 – 7:00 P.M. Kids Christmas crafts, letter writing to Santa, games for the whole family! Enjoy the parade through our nice big picture windows in warmth & comfort or, come in for our holiday drink specials for a quick warm up before you head out to watch from the street!”

The streets light up for the Very Merry Main Street Christmas Parade from 5:30 – 9:00 P.M. Don’t miss this beautiful display of floats from local businesses and organizations showing their holiday spirit! This is a favorite throughout the community, so be sure to bundle up and head to Main St. to be merry! The parade runs on Main from 11th – 2nd.
