Spotlight on Taste of Tippecanoe

It’s that time of year again! Summer is on the brink, and it’s downtown festival season. This year, Taste of Tippecanoe celebrates 37 years of being an annual festival in the Lafayette, IN area. This event is just what the name suggests- a wide variety of vendors representing some of the top restaurants and catering business in Lafayette, IN. We’re calling all foodie’s, all artist, and all local hometown lovers to come out to this unique-in-our-area event!

Taste of Tippecanoe consumes the entirety of Downtown Lafayette for a night, and provides local food and drinks, 4 separate stages for music, and an art area for your viewing pleasure. Click here to view a list of the vendors available, and here to view an event map. Fireworks are also in the itinerary. Stick around until 11:00 P.M. and watch a firework show over the Wabash. You’ll love the atmosphere.

Parking is available along the streets outside of downtown or in parking garages in both Lafayette and West Lafayette.

As we’ve stated, it’s the event’s 37th year running, therefore they’re obviously doing something right! Here’s what the Taste of Tippecanoe website says about their purpose:

“The TASTE of Tippecanoe is the major fund raising event for the Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF). Proceeds from the TASTE provide educational opportunities in the visual, performing, and literary arts, outreach programs for both undeserved communities and at-risk youth, and funding for capital and operational expenses to fellow arts organizations region-wide.”
