Fall Festivals in October!

Here we go again! We gave you all the need-to-knows concerning Fall Festivals in September, and now we have your back for the continued happenings throughout October. Here’s the breakdown- from the history rich Feast of the Hunters’ Moon to the family favorite, Boo at the Zoo– in Greater Lafayette, IN!

First Weekend of October

Second Weekend of October

  • Parke County Covered Bridge Festival
    • This festival actually has 9 locations throughout Parke County. Click here for links and information on what’s where!
    • October 11-20, 2019
      • “For all things fall, visit Indiana’s largest festival, The Covered Bridge Festival. This 10 day festival always starts on the 2nd Friday in October. The Parke County Covered Bridge Festival – showcases the county’s 31 historic covered bridges and features authentic arts and crafts, fantastic food, and beautiful fall foliage. Each community has a specialty.”

    • This is a free event!

Third Weekend of October

  • Parke County Covered Bridge Festival

  • Fall Fest 2019

      • 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

    • “This will be a family-friendly event that will involve wagon rides, pumpkin picking, apple cider slushees, bounce houses, trick or treating, movie night, and more!
      We will also have vendors!”

Fourth Weekend of October

  • Boo at the Zoo
    • Columbian Park Zoo
    • October 23-25, 2019
      • Three separate days for this event. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday all beginning at 6:00 P.M. Click here to view the events!
    • “This ‘hauntingly-friendly’ event is perfect for your pre-school and elementary school-aged children. The event features a nightly kid’s costume contest, cockroach painting, and the Enchanted Train Ride. Our night of delights also includes candy stops, games and the Columbian Park Kiddie Rides.”
