According to an article by the Purdue Exponent, the Christmas tree arrives this year on November 28, 2022 at noon! “Then, the annual tree lighting ceremony will be “The annual ceremony for the lighting of the tree will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30. Purdue President Mitch Daniels will light the tree, and President-elect Mung Chiang and members of the Board of Trustees will attend. The event will also have musical performances and light refreshments… The Christmas tree is scheduled to remain in the Union through Dec. 21, 2022.”

Interpreters will be on hand presenting 18th-century French holiday traditions, including holiday songs and stories, cooking, winter food preservation, winter clothing and winter transportation and more! Dress warmly, hope for snow, and stop by the Fort for this FREE event.”
