Here’s the deep roots of the fun holiday according to National Today, “The female friendships we so heavily rely on are celebrated each year on Galentine’s Day on February 13. Originating from the popular TV show ‘Parks and Recreation,’ the holiday is all about declaring love and affection to the girls who make up our support system.” Another fun fact: Parks and Recreation is a fictional TV show based out of Indiana. Valentine’s Day Fine Dining Restaurants

Valentine’s Day Fine Dining Restaurants

Valentine’s Day 2021 will look different in a few ways, and that’s okay. You might choose to stay home this year and fine dine in. Many local restaurants will actually roll out some special menus for pick up. Keep your eyes open for a blog with that information coming your way! Additionally, grocery stores might have when you need to create a new culinary masterpiece for your significant other. We think this route could be really fun and extremely romantic. However, if you desire to make a reservation and go out like you would any other year, you’ll encounter tables at a six foot span with a lot less people than “normal” inside the buildings. Our recommendation- consider placing reservations early if you do decide to go out! The CDC guidelines list restaurants set up like this as “some risk” for COVID-19 spread, keeping the odds of spread still pretty low. Take out and staying at home are the next and “lowest risk” category. For more information on what to expect while eating out, check the Indiana state website or the official CDC website. Our list comprises local fine dining establishments. We firmly believe in promoting fellow local businesses owners! They’re amazing. Why wouldn’t we make a list including these fine dining options? Greater Lafayette, IN, however, has a long list of other amazing restaurants that we consider “chain” or are local but just simply not in the fine dining category. Be sure to check those out for other Greater Lafayette, IN Valentine’s Day “night out” ideas! Bistro 501 (Lafayette, IN) McGraw’s Steak, Chop, and Fish House (West Lafayette,...
