Small Business Spotlight: Habitat Restore

Habitat for Humanity might be a name you recognize. Believe it or not, this national organization has one of its most successful branches here in Lafayette, IN with building over 300 affordable homes making Greater Lafayette, IN residents homeowners. Additionally, the Lafayette Habitat for Humanity spends their spare time rebuilding and pouring into neighborhoods throughout the city. To put into words what it means to have an investment organization such as Habitat for Humanity working for our community is one of the harder things we’ve done in life. We’re thankful to say the least. However, one of the coolest parts of Habitat for Humanity’s presence in our community is the Habitat ReStore. Here’s Habitat’s words describing how the ReStore serves: “Whether you’re looking for furniture for a room, building materials for a remodel, or that extra something special to make your DIY project shine, you’ll find it at the ReStore. Keeping quality items out of landfills, the ReStore takes donations from people just like you and sells them to the general public at a fraction of the retail price. We use the proceeds to provide access to affordable housing and revitalize neighborhoods. Shopping that makes a difference. What’s better than that?” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves! So, whether you’re looking to donate some perfectly good items, such as kitchen counters, appliances, light fixtures, furniture items, paint, rugs, 2×4’s, or anything home related, click here to schedule a donation pick up. Habitat ReStore Hours, Location, and Reviews The Habitat ReStore is open Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.and Sunday from 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M....
